About Me

I am a Professor at several colleges and universities in the Washington-Baltimore area. My primary teaching position is at Montgomery College. I frequently lecture for the undergraduate and graduate IT programs at my alma mater, Johns Hopkins University.

Students who have attended my IT classes and training have excelled in their area of study and have secured jobs as a direct result of this training. I have incorporated cutting-edge technologies to deliver instruction material, including online instruction, video tutorials, and digital/virtual exercises.

I am involved with several international and national standards organizations. I invented and patented geospatial technologies that are standards for SMPTE and the IETF.
